How to flash DS02 by Computer

 First,pls download tool and driver here:

DS02 upgrade instruction

Notice: Upgrading process will erase the system data,it’s better back up all of your data if needed.

Turn on programme ‘RKBatchTool.exe’

Click "firmware" button to load image file:

Connect computer via USB OTG port by Micro USB cable,connect power supply to charge.

Keep pressing the reset button which located in earphone jack by some slim metal stick similar with clip.

After several seconds,below screen will pop out to request install driver,then loosen reset button,select “DriverAssistant_v4.3” to install according to navigation.

PS: How to select driver version

(A). If your computer is WindowsXP，pls select ‘X86’→ XP

(B).If your PC is 32 byte Windows Vista，pls select X86’→Vista

(C).If your PC is 32 byte Windows7，pls select ‘X86→ win7

(D).If your PC is 32 byte Windows8，pls select ‘X86→ win8

(E). If your PC is 64 byte Windows Vista，pls select‘X64’→Vista

(F). If your PC is 64 byte Windows7，pls select ‘X64→ win7

(G). If your PC is 64 byte Windows8，pls select ‘X64→ win8

Pls click “finish” if all the procedure completed.

Then let’s back to the flashing tool,system has found the device now.

Click "run" to start upgrading FW,pls refer to below screen:

Then just operate according to the navigation till upgrade succeed.

What you need to flash:

FactoryTool_v1.63
Driver: DriverAssitant_v4.5
 
1.Driver installation
Open the folder"DriverAssitant", find and click"DriverInstall.exe",You will get below picture:
Press”驱动安装”

 
After Installation success, click ”确定” to exit.

2. Find the"FactoryTool.exe"from FactoryTool, double click.
A. Load the Img file
Click"Firmware"button

Wait for 5-10 seconds till the img file loaded, then select"Restore",click"Run"
 
Now the orange button changes to green.

Connect USB OTG with the computer via an USB cable, keep holding recovery button for 3-5 seconds till the computer recognize USB device, then loose the recovery button.

You'll get below screen:

This process needs 1-2 mins. when below picture appear,that means upgrade successfully.
